The story: Don Mateo acts as an “urban anti-depressant”, leading the fight against the gloom of the city by covering its walls with colorful characters. His universe, inspired by our society, questions but also offers a moment of escape in simple pleasures.
Pleasure and passion are what unites Don Mateo and Shutter Clothing. Here, Don Mateo has created a stencil inspired by Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing, embodying hip-hop, the street and the culture of Brooklyn in the 90’s.
