T-SHIRT

In order to propose a different approach of “photo tshirts”, we decided to choose 10 cities in the world, to take pictures of them (that we obviously made on our own) and to transform them into big colorful and contrasted pixel squares. The design then becomes abstract, but still hides a reality linked to the original picture, which is unveiled in the diaporama.

For each town we wanted to describe a particularity of the atmosphere, like the red tones for the Amsterdam design, linked to the Red Light District, or the yellow tones for the Berlin one, linked to the yellow subway, or the green tones for the Roma one, linked to the dolce vita, etc etc…

Boosted by its passion for travel, its adventurous spirit and its taste for foreign cultures, every three months, I Heart packs to get to know a new city and to share his impressions, his address and his good plans with its readers.

The common point to all of its destinations? Cities in motion marked by dynamism and emerging and alternative cultures that make us want to go abroad in our turn … I Heart has already made us discover cities like Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, Melbourne, Los Angeles, Toronto… It is in this relation to the city and its culture that Shutter identifies itself, among the many readers of I Heart.

Because Shutter shares its ideas and its vision of the trip, it’s naturally that the brand and I Heart decided to work together to imagine a kit wherein words and images combine to offer an original look on a city.
