Artist : Don Mateo
His story : Born in the 80s, Don Mateo grew up with hip hop culture and he developed a passion for street art. In 2010, he moved to Lyon and takes possession of the new playground which he coats the walls of his famous anonymous portraits who captive by their emotion and energy. Don Mateo “Act as an urban therapy”! For his new collaboration with Shutter Clothing, Don Mateo offers a self-portrait. The character, to empty his mind, spits paint. This illustration is an extract from the book that Critères Editions dedicated to the artist.
