“I have travelled a lot of km from San Francisco to Los Angeles several times last summer. Each time, I decided to take a new path. This photo was taken on one of those round trips during a lunch break on the road in a very typical restaurant. They were sitting there among the empty restaurant. I have often been fascinated by the elderly people, their singular ways of being there without actually be. Usually you intersect single seniors because those who shared their lives have already left, but they themselves were there, both, in love. “
